5-11-2010;- Hi, the men on the deck are back row, harry lane my father, myself george lane,the other was the 2nd engineer,
the three men sitting on the deck were alf taylor, harry ricketts, and jack painter. we were the 5
lightermen that worked with the tug.If you look carefully you can just see the head of the captain, john miles.
At the time I was the youngest member of the crew at 19.
